Rainy Day, Go Away.
I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain,
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain,
And all that i hear as i lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.
I step very softly,
I walk very slowly,
I can't do a headstand--
I might overflow,
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.

Photography
So I stumbled across these photographers and i need to share. Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison portray our polluted world in disturbingly stark monochromatic photographs. The ParkHarrisons build elaborate backgrounds in their photos. In them, Robert poses as the "Everyman." This "Everyman," who is dressed in a black suit and starched white shirt, has an interaction with the forces of nature in the elaborate background. In order to create a unique look in their photographs, Robert and Shana use paper negatives, along with a collage, to make the viewer realize their, and their technology's, impact upon the environment.
Also, check out the new weekly sale in my shop. Each week i have a pair of earrings for $2. Yes, thats right, two dollars.

Spring come back. It has been a been a pretty cold winter so having a full week of seventy degrees days was a nice surprise. But of course, todays high was a whooping thirty nine degrees. These fabulous etsy finds remind me that spring is right around the corner.
